Full-Stack Lead
Miyagami is a team of developers, designers, and strategists building scalable, high-quality digital products for founders and organizations. The Full-Stack Lead will be the technical heartbeat of the engineering team, owning architecture decisions, setting technical direction across multiple projects, mentoring onshore and offshore engineers, and working closely with Product, Design, and clients while remaining hands-on in code when needed.

The role
We are now 4 years up and running and with a current team of 15+ people, we are always looking for new talent to join. As part of our team, you will collaborate with fellow designers and developers, project managers and clients across the entire design and development process to ensure the best design for diverse projects and platforms. Our office is located in Amsterdam and our team works at the office or from home.
Responsibilities and duties
Your day-to-day responsibilities will look like this:
- Define and evolve the overall technical strategy and architecture of our products.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full-stack and mobile developers (onshore in Amsterdam + offshore partners).
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for engineers, product managers, designers, and clients.
- Design scalable, clean, and future-proof system architectures.
- Translate complex business requirements into solid technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Guard code quality: enforce standards, drive regular code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing across time zones.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to ensure technical feasibility and excellent user experiences.
- Hands-on development when needed; contribute code and solve hard problems.
- Establish and improve engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and best practices.
- Champion the adoption of AI tooling and modern practices to keep the team fast and efficient.
Requirements
- At least 2 years in a technical leadership or team lead role (experience managing or collaborating with offshore teams is a plus).
- Currently based in the Netherlands to allow regular in-person collaboration in Amsterdam.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Preferred start date: 1st of March 2026.
